On display will be a selection of replica helmets\, armor pieces\, and weaponry from the medieval to Renaissance periods\, including several objects from the collection that have not been on public view in years. \nThis hour-long presentation will explore the evolution of armor and weapons throughout the Middle Ages\, as well as the science behind their construction and use. It will include a discussion of the career paths of knights and blacksmiths and a demonstration of how their equipment was cleaned and maintained. A short question-and-answer session will conclude the presentation. \nAdmission includes a self-guided tour of the Museum following the program. Arms and Armor is ideal for ages 10 and up.

All Maple Strolls are weather permitting and will last approximately 1 hour\, walking much of that time. We welcome all ages; however\, information is geared towards those 10 and up.
