SUMMARY:Homeschool Scholars: Seasonal Rhythms
DESCRIPTION:Join us in October for weekly homeschool programs exploring the seasonal rhythms of the trails\, woodlands\, farm fields\, and coastlines of the Crane Estate and Appleton Farms! October is a great time to see how nature is changing and getting ready for winter. Participants will explore the coastline\, trails\, and woodlands of The Crane Estate & Appleton Farms\, while making observations\, taking measurements\, and learning how scientists study nature as the seasons change. \nThis is a drop-off program that is open to ages 5-11 and will include small group work specialized activities based on age and peer mentoring opportunities between age groups. \nThe class takes place rain or shine\, with as much time spent outdoors as possible. Students should arrive dressed for the weather and bring a lunch and water bottle. \nHomeschool Scholars: Seasonal Rhythms- This 4-class series program takes place on Thursdays from 9am-12pm on October 1\, 8\, 15\, & 22. \nCrane Estate: October 1 & 15\nAppleton Farms: October 8 & 22\nTuition for the 4 classes is $275 for Trustees Members and $325 for nonmembers. Registration covers all listed session dates.
