DESCRIPTION:Lynn\, MA – North Shore artist Annette Sykes will present her latest solo exhibition\, Breathing Brushstrokes: A Journey Through Light and Shadow\, from May 7 to May 11\, 2025\, at The Galleries at LynnArts\, located at 25 Exchange Street in Lynn\, Massachusetts. The show is free and open to the public.\nAn Artists Talk will be held on Thursday\, May 8\, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. A public Artists Reception will take place on Saturday\, May 10\, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM.\nThis new body of work reflects Sykes’ transition from gallery administrator to full-time artist. The exhibition features Annette’s expressive portraits and figure drawings created during her long-running weekly figure drawing group at GALA\, alongside pieces from her ongoing series Antique Hunting with Bob\, inspired by road trips through New England with her husband.
