SUMMARY:Art Exhibit: Opening Reception for "Meanwhile" by Cherith Lundin
DESCRIPTION:“Meanwhile” is an installation of paintings\, drawings and prints that locate moments of beauty and longing on the threshold between architecture and landscape. Large-scale\, immersive paintings depict rhythmic architectural arrangements of walls and screens\, interspersed with glimpses of verdant gardens and parks. Cherith Lundin works across a variety of media\, exploring ephemeral perceptions of light and space within everyday architecture. \nOpening reception and talk with the artist is on Saturday\, September 14th from 4-6 pm. \nThe Gallery at Barrington Center for the Arts is open Monday-Saturday from 9 am-7 pm.
