DESCRIPTION:Rain or Shine! \nStep back in time at our Renaissance Faire Day! \nImmerse yourself in the enchanting world of medieval and Renaissance culture with live performances by The Penniless Jacks and the L.I.A.R.S. (Ladies of Integrity\, Aristocracy\, Repute\, and Society)\, offering a mesmerizing blend of medieval\, Renaissance\, and Celtic music as they stroll through the Museum and grounds. \nWitness the thrilling spectacle of armored combat as The Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword presents high-energy fight demonstrations\, bringing the medieval battlefield to life before your eyes. This educational and entertaining event offers a unique opportunity to explore historical European martial arts and experience the vibrant tapestry of medieval life. \nProgram of Events:\n• 10:30 am -11:00 am. Penniless Jacks\, Location: Archway overlook\n• 11:30 am – 12 pm. L.I.A.R.S\, Location: Great Hall\n• 12:30 -1:30 pm Brotherhood of the Arrow & Sword: Location: Back Lawn \n• 2:30 – 3:00 pm. L.I.A.R.S\, Location: Archway Overlook\n• 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Brotherhood of the Arrow & Sword\, Location: Back Lawn\n• 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Penniless Jacks\, Location: Great Hall \nEnjoy a variety of food trucks offering delicious fare for purchase\, explore the Museum at your own pace with self-guided tours\, and take advantage of free off-site parking at Stage Fort Park with continuously running shuttles to and from the Museum. (On-site parking only permitted for those with mobility issues. ) The last shuttles leave the Museum at 6:00 pm. The food trucks are open from 10 am to 5:30 pm. \nKids ages 4 and under are free but do require a reserved ticket\, and kids ages 12 and under are only $10! Hammond Castle Museum Member savings apply. \nDon’t miss this extraordinary day of music\, pageantry\, and living history at Hammond Castle Museum—where the past comes alive in spectacular fashion! \nAll ticket sales are final.\nAll proceeds from this event support the ongoing restoration and preservation of the Museum. At nearly a century old\, the Museum is not handicapped accessible as there are many stairs on the Museum grounds and within the Museum.
