DESCRIPTION:Scott Tarulli is a Boston-based guitarist\, artist\, and producer\, and clinician who has played professionally for over 28 years. His sound is influenced by greats like Herbie Hancock\, Jimi Hendrix\, Cornell Dupree\, Bill Evans\, Steve Lukather\, and James Burton. \nTarulli released his debut solo album\, “Transitions” (2004) followed by a live album\, “September in Boston: Live” (2005). Creativity\, if nothing else\, is paradoxical. \nTo date\, Five For Fighting\, has released six studio LPs\, including the platinum certified America Town and The Battle for Everything; and the top-10 charting Two Lights\, along with an EP and live albums. \nOndrasik has penned major hits\, including the chart-topping “100 Years\,” “The Riddle\,” “Chances\,” “World\,” and “Easy Tonight\,” which have earned tens of millions of streams and place him as a top-10 Hot Adult Contemporary artist for the 2000s. Ella Suchecki\, a celebrated singer/songwriter\, is also the visitor services assistant at the Museum. These two rising stars will fill the evening with song\, with the support of the superb Chuck Walker Trio\, for one night only before Ella leaves to complete her studies at Salve Regina University. \nThis event is a fundraiser for the intern program at the Museum of Old Newbury. DESCRIPTION:Hailed as one of the finest interpreters of the Sinatra sound in the world\, Rhode Island native Michael Dutra has been performing his tribute to Frank Sinatra across the nation—from Las Vegas to Miami to Boston—since 2002. Boston Globe columnist Wesley Morris remarked that “his sound is velour to Sinatra’s velvet. You really can’t tell the difference.” Ron Della Chiesa of WPLM Boston Radio and Sinatra Guru adds\, “Michael literally channels Sinatra.” \nMost of Michael’s influence comes from his dad. “Dad was always singing Sinatra songs throughout the house\, and I would remember the lyrics and join him from time to time\, even at the early age of 7.” \nMichael performed at the world famous Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City opening for Howie Mandel. He continues to perform nearly 275 nights a year in clubs\, dinner theatres\, performing arts centers\, corporate events and private parties. His true passion comes out when he is performing with his own Strictly Sinatra Band.
