When the current lineup came together in 2012\, with many members hav ing joined years earlier\, Kantner couldn’t have predicted the band would become the road – conquering force they are today.

Guest food trucks and vendors pop-ups regularly. \nPlay – Parking\, play areas and barnyard are always free and open 8 am – 6 pm daily. B. Fisk experiencing most every aspect of organ building. Primarily a reed pipe voicer\, he has also been involved in woodworking\, pipe making\, drawing and design in AutoCAD\, CNC programming and operation\, organ maintenance\, among other tasks. Award winning fiddler and singer Erica Brown on fiddle\, guitar\, vocals\, notable songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Shipman on guitar\, vocals\, mandolin\, bouzouki\, banjo and Portland’s favorite bass player Kris Day\, who has also toured with legends like Link Wray\, Dale Hawkins\, Ronnie Dawson and Joe Clay. \nTheir music is a diverse and unique blend of folk with influences from bluegrass and old time music. Drawing on these threads of North American folk music\, their elegant harmonies are the beating heart of their sound\, in both their original music and the traditional old time\, bluegrass and New England influenced music they regularly showcase. In Darlin’ Corey’s singing and playing\, you can feel the many years of dedication to these celebrated musical traditions. \nTogether they create an engaging performance of thoughtful originals\, traditional songs and tunes\, and songs that influenced them along the way. Erica Brown’s fiddle-playing is at turns virtuosic and completely unpretentious. Matt Shipman is an ideal counterpart as his versatility on a dizzying array of stringed instruments (guitar\, Irish bouzouki\, 5-string banjo\, mandolin) blend seamlessly\, never timid or overpowering. Kris Day holds it all together with his solid bass playing.

The band is also known for recreating entire albums as a part of their show\, accepting requests from fans\, and for taking an A-Z approach in which one song is played for every letter of the alphabet. \nThe Machine has sold out theaters\, premier showcase rooms and casinos across North America\, Europe and Asia\, performed at renowned music festivals such as Bonnaroo\, Riverbend\, and Gathering of the Vibes\, and shared the stage with full symphony orchestras\, including the Atlanta\, Detroit\, Pittsburgh\, Jacksonville\, Charlotte and San Diego Symphonies\, as well as the Buffalo Philharmonic. \nThe band features founding member Tahrah Cohen (drums)\, longtime bandmates Scott Chasolen (keys\, vocals) and Ryan Ball (guitar\, vocals)\, and newest member Chris DeAngelis (bass\, lead vocals).
