The John Cabot House and Visitor Center is a 1781 Georgian mansion in Beverly’s Arts District that includes a museum of local history and research center. Our long-term exhibit, “Beverly: An American Story”, tells the story of Beverly from pre-contact through the 20th century with artifacts and documents that include paintings, decorative arts, weapons, household and industrial objects and personal items. Rotating exhibits include an annual juried community art show. Programs are offered year round and kid’s activities are available whenever the museum is open.
