DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Arlington Heights\, IL\, Nick Smeriglio’s journey into entertainment began with an improv program at the renowned Second City Chicago. With a marketing degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee\, WI\, Nick’s early career took a different path. From ages 22-26\, he worked various jobs\, including a year as a recruiter\, a year selling bread\, and two years in ad sales at Paramount. It was at Paramount that Nick decided to follow his passion for comedy\, quitting his job after being booked for his first stand-up shows in the spring of 2021.\nThe COVID-19 pandemic struck just a week after his final Second City show\, forcing Nick to move back to his parents’ house in the suburbs. TikTok became his only creative outlet\, where he began posting skits featuring his three known impressions: Christopher Walken\, Tony Soprano\, and Sebastian Maniscalco. By the fall of 2020\, his videos had gained significant attention\, leading to unexpected offers from East Coast stand-up clubs. Despite never having performed stand-up before\, Nick took the plunge and booked his first weekend of shows at three different clubs in New York and New Jersey for April 2021.\nIn October 2021\, Nick moved to New York City to pursue his comedy and acting career full-time. His dedication paid off as he quickly made a name for himself in the comedy circuit. An 11-day\, nine-show tour paved the way for a headlining gig at the iconic Caroline’s on Broadway in Times Square. He also performed six shows at the Chicago Improv with fellow Italian-American comedian and mentor\, Anthony Rodia.\nNick’s career continued to soar as he traveled to Burbank\, California\, to perform alongside Jay Leno in November 2021. Back in Chicago\, he appeared on WGN-TV and 670 AM The Score\, showcasing his comedic talents with a skit about celebrities firing former Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy.\nIn addition to his stand-up and acting pursuits\, Nick performs with the sketch group “”I Mostly Blame Myself\,”” which secured a spot at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland in August 2024. He has also taken on roles in television commercials\, hosted and emceed corporate sales meetings and trade shows nationwide\, and performed at various charity events in Chicago’s Edison Park neighborhood. Nick Smeriglio’s journey from suburban Chicago to the vibrant New York comedy scene is a testament to his resilience\, talent\, and unwavering passion for entertainment.

Lauren walks around the room and to each table to deliver messages from loved ones who wish to come through who described themselves\, their personalities\, details about their lives\, and messages that only audience members can validate to prove the afterlife exists for those healing from a loss or curious about the other side. Not all guests will receive a message\, but they will leave with an unforgettable experience. \nTickets are $50.00 per and are non-refundable or transferable\, make a unique gift\, and are limited to 80 to 100 people—no one under the age of 18. Raised in Janesville\, WI by divorced parents and a 19-inch television\, he was destined to pursue a career in entertainment. In 2005\, Pete flew to New York to make his television debut on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend\, and the taping went so well that he decided to move to NYC. Soon after moving to NYC\, he was selected to perform at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal\, where he was voted a standout performer. In 2008 Pete made his network television debut performing on NBC’s Last Comic Standing finishing as a semi- finalist. That same year\, he made his television acting debut on the CBS Soap Opera As The World Turns. At the end of 2008\, he shot his own Comedy Central Half Hour Special\, which earned him a cult following at comedy clubs\, and the opportunity to perform over the next ten years at 500 colleges across the country. \nIn 2010 Pete began producing and editing his own shows for the Internet which led to getting his own web show on MSN.com called New York Minute:30. His web shows attracted the attention of television talent scouts and in 2012 he was hired to be a writer and cast member on FUSE TV’s Video on Trial and the NFL Network’s Top 10’s. In 2013\, Pete was hired as a cast member on VH1’s Best Week Ever\, where he was a writer and cast member for three seasons. That same year\, he made his late night television debut on CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman. \nCurrently\, Pete is a cast member of TruTV’s Greatest Ever and he hosts his own segment on Nickelodeon’s Nick Toons\, in co-ordination with the NFL\, called NFL Rush.
