GSB is separate and independent from the school district and school band programs. In 2020 he became a make-up artist on HBO’s drag makeover series We’re Here for which he won the EMMY award for “Outstanding Makeup for a Variety\, Nonfiction or Reality Program” in 2022. “Homecoming” marks Laila’s first performance in Gloucester since 2019. \nTenderoni is a Springfield\, MA born\, Chicago based\, nationally renowned Drag King known for his throwback high-energy performances and rhinestoned looks. He was the first Drag King to ever perform at Lollapalooza and was the winner of Alaska Thunderfuck’s Drag Queen of the Year Pageant in 2021. He has been featured in The New York Times\, national campaigns for Youtube\, and Vogue Brasil as well as pride campaigns with Skittles\, Smirnoff and Taco Bell. Most recently\, Tenderoni has been nominated for a Queerty Award in the Drag Royalty category.

The reduction of traditional fish stocks and resulting strict state regulations on fishermen has led to social\, cultural and economic challenges never before experienced by the oldest fishing port in America. Beginning in 1606\, when Samuel de Champlain named Gloucester Harbor “Le Beauport”\, Gloucester\, through the voices of its citizens\, speaks to the enormity of our reliance on one of the world’s greatest fisheries\, revealing the towering achievements and innovations\, along with the slow but sure depletion of the fishery through advances in technology and the pressure of demand\, along with the effects of pollution and global warming. In this documentary\, covering the eight years leading up to 2023\, as well as the 400 years preceding it\, the citizens tell the story of a great American City’s unique struggle to remain true to Le Beauport.

Required $15 \nAlexandra graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in May 2020 with a B.M. in Songwriting and Vocal Performance and a minor in Psychology. Currently\, she is focusing on performing\, songwriting\, and recording. She also teaches private lessons in voice\, songwriting\, piano\, beginner guitar & ukulele at her music studio in Gloucester. \nOn the stage is where Alexandra comes alive. As a solo artist\, she self-accompanies on piano and guitar\, performing around the New England area. She is also ½ of acoustic duo “Alexandra and Josh”. Her music has been featured on radio stations across the East Coast\, including Boston’s 92.5 The River\, and she has appeared on television several times\, including on The Discovery Channel and with Gloucester’s 1623 Studios. \nThe Far Out is a funk and soul pop band from the north shore of Massachusetts. All six musicians have been playing together since they were kids – learning and growing through shared experiences in jazz\, theatre\, a cappella\, and orchestra. Now\, they engage their audiences with high-energy grooves\, powerful vocals\, and funky horn lines\, supported by undeniable chemistry of a group of lifelong friends. Their goal is to include audiences in their infectious joy and make funk and soul music accessible to younger generations. \nChristian Towler is a songwriter and producer from Gloucester\, MA.

The brainchild of ace Boston guitarists Ryan Taylor and Johnny Trama\, this collective\, more than a mere homage\, harness the Allman Brothers tradition as a vehicle to bring a unique and exciting experience every night. The ensemble features artists from an array of bands including – North Mississippi Allstars \,Dickey Betts and Great Southern\, Pink Talking Fish\, Neighbor\, Dub Apocalypse\, Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers\, Dickey Betts Great Southern\, Slightly Stoopid\, Sonya Rae Taylor\, Band of Killers and more. \nMatt Zeiner began his professional music career touring with Matt “Guitar” Murphy\, who exposed him to a fusion of blues and jazz. His career took a significant turn in 2000 when Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers Band recruited him as a keyboardist and vocalist\, leading to a fruitful collaboration and tour. \nRyan Taylor on slide guitar spearheads the band with his exceptional talents. His journey\, steeped in the rich musical traditions of Austin and Nashville\, saw Ryan honing his craft the old-fashioned way. \nJohnny Trama on guitar conjures up riffs and rhythms that speak volumes. His journey through the realms of rock\, soul\, and blues\, playing with icons like Bettye LaVette and Jesse Dee\, has armed him with a mystical musical prowess. \nJesse Williams on bass is an alchemist of groove\, spinning each note into a rhythmic tapestry. His Grammy-nominated escapades with the likes of Duke Robillard and Joe Louis Walker have endowed him with a bass prowess that’s both fluid and formidable. \nTom Arey behind the drums is nothing short of a powerhouse\, orchestrating beats and fills with the finesse of a seasoned composer. His tenure with Peter Wolf’s Midnight Travelers has honed a style that’s explosive yet eloquent\, much like the Allmans’ own percussive legends. \nBrendan Tommaney on percussion is a true artist\, painting rhythms with a palette of beats and textures. Educated at the New England Conservatory of Music and seasoned with groups like Pink Talking Fish\, Tommaney brings a jazz-infused sensibility that adds depth and dimension to the band’s sound. \nPaul Wolstencroft on keyboards crafts melodies that mesmerize and transport. His tenure with Slightly Stoopid has given him a swagger that shines through each performance\, weaving a spell of harmonies and counter-melodies that elevate the band’s tribute from mere replication to a reimagined homage.
