The Andover Historical Society’BB s museum and library offers a tantalizing opportunity to connect visitors with the rich community history that surrounds them. The Society tells the unique stories of Andover through our museum, library, archives, exhibitions and programs. By our active community involvement, the Society fosters a strong community that knows its history, values what it inherits, and takes pride in what it passes on to future generations. Our exhibits, events, and programs not only enlighten and inform, but also entertain.

Guided Museum tours are available 10am-4pm Tuesdays through Saturdays.

Tours are given of the Amos Blanchard House and Barn Museum where exhibit rooms recreate the life of the Blanchard family in the early 19th century.

There is no charge for admission but donations are accepted.

The Research Library is open 10am-4pm Tuesdays thru Saturdays, and other times by appointment.

On Saturdays, 10am -2pm, July through September, the Andover Historical Society runs the popular Andover Farmers’ Market – a weekly gathering of farmers, specialty food vendors, artisans, and local food enthusiasts.
