Hammond Castle Museum offers an enchanting setting for your special moments. Whether it’s an engagement, elopement, or wedding celebration, the Castle provides the perfect backdrop for both grand gatherings and smaller celebrations alike. Let your love story start in a place as timeless as romance itself.

Weddings & Receptions: Now booking into 2027!

A wedding rental may include a ceremony and reception or just a reception. Guests are welcome to use a tent on our ocean-facing lawn or utilize the Great Hall for the dining and dancing portions of their celebration.

Rentals can take place any day of the week, but within the two timelines: either 5 – 9 pm or 5 – 10 pm

  • 4 Hours Monday through Thursday: $6,000.00
  • 4 Hours Friday through Sunday: $6,800.00
  • 5 Hours Monday through Thursday: $7,500.00
  • 5 Hours Friday through Sunday: $8,500.00

The rental fee includes 20-minute educational tours for your guests, specific pieces of furniture and décor for your use, and separate rooms for both partners throughout the event.  The wedding party is welcome to arrive at 3:30 pm for pre-ceremonial photography.

A one-and-a-half-hour set up and a half-hour break down are included for your vendors.

A $2,500.00 deposit is required to secure your desired date. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to another date and are deducted from the total rental cost.  Full payment is due one month prior to your event.  Payment plans are available. The Petite Wedding:

The Petite Wedding offers the opportunity to host an intimate wedding ceremony with your closest family and friends. You will enjoy exclusive access to the Great Hall and Courtyard, as well as the ocean-facing lawn, and gardens for your ceremony and photographs.   • Total capacity: 20 people

Elopements:

Elopements offer a uniquely intimate ceremony in a stunning, private setting. This one-hour rental includes the ceremony with your officiant and your photographer, ensuring your special moment is captured beautifully. Additional fees may apply for any additional family members attending, such as adult children or parents of the couple.

Rental Rates:

  • Before 3:30 – 4:30pm: $750
  • After 4:30pm: $850
