“Meanwhile” is an installation of paintings, drawings and prints that locate moments of beauty and longing on the threshold between architecture and landscape. Large-scale, immersive paintings depict rhythmic architectural arrangements of walls and screens, interspersed with glimpses of verdant gardens and parks. Cherith Lundin works across a variety of media, exploring ephemeral perceptions of light and space within everyday architecture.
Opening reception and talk with the artist is on Saturday, September 14th from 4-6 pm.
The Gallery at Barrington Center for the Arts is open Monday-Saturday from 9 am-7 pm.
