Emmaus’ signature fundraising event, Cycle for Shelter, started in 1989. Over the past 35 years, the event has raised more than $2.2 million to help defeat homelessness in the Greater Merrimack Valley in Massachusetts. It’s an event the community looks forward to every year. Nearly 200 cyclists participate annually and dozens of local businesses and restaurants sponsor the ride.
Ride in person or virtually and raise money to help families and individuals in our community facing homelessness rebuild their lives.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday, September 15th.
Cycle for Shelter will have a 100 mile route, a 62 mile route, a 35 mile route and a 15 mile route.
All routes start and return to Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA.
The Event features:
Low fundraising minimum, including a special Family Team minimum requirement
Fun post-ride cookout
Opportunity to participate in training rides to prepare for the big day
Goodie bag for all riders
