Historic New England Open House

Join Historic New England on June 6 for a region wide Open House! Explore 38 distinctly different historic sites for FREE from Connecticut to Maine. On Massachusetts’ North Shore, visitors can experience hundreds of years of history including Boardman House in Saugus; Phillips House and Gedney House in Salem; Beauport, the Sleeper-McCann House in Gloucester; Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury; and Rocky Hill Meeting House in Amesbury.

Learn about the rich and diverse history of New England’s indigenous and colonial past throughout the region. Connect with stories linked with the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. Visit with farm animals in Newbury. Check out antique cars and carriages on the “most beautiful street in America” in Salem. On Cape Ann, tour the seaside home of one of America’s first interior designers, and celebrate American folk art.
