David Hockney explores Eastern versus Western perspectives. He compares the fluid, moving viewpoint of the Chinese scroll—created before Western linear perspective took over—with his own ideas on space and art. Shown in conjunction with the exhibition Hockney Reproduction(s). On view through October 18, 2026, Hockney Reproduction(s) is a major exhibition exploring the artist’s six-decade engagement with reproductive technologies through more than seventy posters, rare fax works, prints, photographic composites, digital drawings, and video installations.
Screening at Sawyer Free Library. Exhibition at Manship Artists Residency.
