On Saturday, May 3, Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, in partnership with Mud Puddle Toys, is excited to celebrate the power of a wish in the Marblehead community. Sophia, 9, from Marblehead, lives with a rare and life-threatening disease – VACTERL Association. Together, we will raise funds to grant life-changing wishes for kids like Sophia, whose wish for a treehouse will be granted this summer.
As part of the day-long celebration, Mud Puddle will host an open house style party at their store from 1-4 p.m. The general public is invited to come by for fun activities geared toward kids and families and the chance to learn more and support the Make-A-Wish mission.
To learn more about the May 3 celebration or get involved, please contact Caroline Craig at ccraig@massri.wish.org. Additional activities and local business involvement will be announced in the coming weeks.
Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island grants life-changing wishes for local children with critical illnesses. This year, the organization will grant nearly 400 wishes for children ages 2 ½ to 18. To learn more about how you can get involved, visit massri.wish.org.
