“Printing Revolution” presentation lecture

Andy Volpe (Museum of Printing, Haverhill MA) will present “Printing Revolution” which looks at both the printing press and what was being printed as “revolutionary” as well as talking about the lead-up to the American Revolution, the legal battles fought by the Colonial printers and England over the ideas of Freedom of Speech and a Free Press, and the printing of the Declaration of Independence
