Take time this July 4th to enjoy inspiring artworks, browse for unique, handcrafted gifts, spend an evening quietly reading, and relax with afternoon tea & cake at the Marblehead Arts Association.
The Marblehead Arts Association Summer Exhibition is now on with a display of stunning fine art, photography and 3D, including works by newly juried members. Galleries and gift shop are open Wednesday to Sunday, 12-5pm. Admission is free.
Thursday July 2nd, 6 – 8pm: Silent Book Reading Party
Spend a relaxing evening of literary escape hosted by the Marblehead Festival of Arts, in partnership with the Marblehead Arts Association. Enjoy uninterrupted reading in a quiet setting, perfect for starting your summer reading list. Cost $10.
Saturday July 4th & Sunday July 5th, 1-4pm: Tea in the Tavern
Take a break on Saturday & Sunday afternoon with a welcome cup of tea in beautiful bone china, and enjoy a cookie or cake in the historic Tavern at the Hooper Mansion – or in the exquisite courtyard garden, a hidden gem behind the Marblehead Arts Association!
