St. Peter’s Fiesta

The St. Peter’s Fiesta of recent years provides a varied program certain to be of interest to all. The entire Italian-American section of Gloucester is decorated with flags, bunting, colored lights and streamers. Don’t miss Seine Boat races and the Greasy Pole contest where brave souls run across a greased pole trying to capture a flag. Fiesta Sunday begins with the traditional outdoor mass at the Altar at St. Peter’s Square followed by a procession that marches through the streets of Gloucester.
