Our beautiful and historic schooner has been hosting wedding events in Salem for 20 years. Our couples enjoy the experience so much that many come back to sail with us each summer! The experience is informal, the scenery is gorgeous, and the day unforgettable! FAME is a replica of a privateer schooner from the War of 1812, so although she has old-school charm, she is also a strongly-built, stable, safe vessel that your guests will find comfortable.
FAME is a great venue for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bachelor & bachelorette parties, bridal showers — and it is an IDEAL way to entertain out-of-town guests for a few hours before or after the wedding! And all YOU need to do is show up.

We are legal to 49 passengers, but strongly recommend capping the guest list at 40 to leave room for mingling and for food/wine/gifts/floral arrangements. Our downtown location at Pickering Wharf on Wharf Street in Salem makes it a snap to arrange catering, photography, and flowers — all within a hundred yards of our dock!
