Lynn Museum

In the heart of Lynn’s Arts & Cultural District is the Lynn Museum, which celebrates the city’s history from its founding to the present. Its changing exhibitions mean you’ll always have something new and exciting to see, from artifacts of the past to paintings made by modern artists. The museum is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am – 5 pm as well as the second Saturday of each month from 10 am – 2 pm.

The museum has even expanded to include the LynnArts building, which celebrates and supports the creative community of the Greater North Shore. It offers private studio space for contemporary artists, two gallery spaces, and the Neal Rantoul Black Box Theater. The galleries are open Thursdays from 1 pm – 4 pm and Saturdays from 11 am – 5 pm.

Lynn Memorial Auditorium

The Lynn Memorial Auditorium is one of the premier entertainment venues in Massachusetts. Come out of the snow and see a show, whether it’s the Boston Pops or Alice Cooper. Whether you choose floor or balcony seats, you’re sure to get an incredible view of the stage from anywhere in the auditorium. Grand Army of the Republic Museum

For fans of American history and the wars we’ve fought, the Grand Army of the Republic Museum is a can’t-miss. Even the building itself has history, as it was built in 1885 with funds raised by local Civil War veterans to honor those who fought to save the Union. Inside, go to the third floor to view the incredible 56 ft by 46 ft main hall where the walls are covered in photos of Civil War veterans. Beyond that, there are six other rooms filled with memorabilia from the Revolutionary War through the Korean War.
