Mother’s Day is coming up quickly and our local businesses are rising to the occasion! We’ve rounded up a list of events and activities to satisfy Mom North of Boston this Mother’s Day. Whether you’re celebrating with your mom, your wife, your kids or your caretaker here’s what’s happening in our region in honor of the mothers and mother figures that do so much for so many. Mother’s Day Events & Activities

May 13: Hats & High Tea, Amesbury Carriage Museum

A celebratory event honoring moms, sisters, aunties, caregivers, and families. Come for our elegant afternoon tea with scones & sandwiches and all the trimmings. Wear a hat for fun and maybe win a prize! There will also be a photography exhibit with images from the Merrimac Hat Company.

May 13: Mom’s Morning Off, MarketStreet Lynnfield

Kickstart Mother’s Day weekend at MarketStreet Lynnfield starting with a CARDIO+BEATS workout led by A Mom’s Village, then kick back with refreshments on Davio’s patio. Ticket sales benefit Life is Good’s Playmaker Project. Grab a friend and make it a girls’ morning. Registration is required.

May 13: Crane Explorer: Mother’s Day Coastal Crafts

This Mother’s day, give a gift from the sea! From seaweed pressings to shell collages, beach treasures make beautiful greetings and keepsakes. Join this workshop to make a gift for mom, OR bring mom along for a fun coastal art-making outing! This program will start with a beach walk to collect coastal treasures, followed by crafting.

Mother’s Day Brunch Cruise, Beauport Cruiselines

Beauport Cruiselines returns with a Mother’s Day brunch at sea from 11am to 2 pm for children and adults. Hop aboard and enjoy a decadent brunch and ocean views as you cruise along Gloucester Harbor and Cape Anne.

Beauport Hotel, Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet in the Ballroom

Enjoy a Mother’s Day Sunday Buffet in Beauport’s Grand Ballroom, including New England Clam Chowder, Garlic & Herb Crusted Sirloin of Beef, Better than Mom’s Mac & Cheese, and a “made-to-order” Omelet Station. Reservations are from 10 am at 2 pm. $89* per person | $49* per child.

Appleton Farms, Mother’s Day Brunch To-Go

Visit Appleton Farms on Mother’s Day for the perfect pastoral picnic brunch. the day will feature a selection of items specially made in their Farmhouse Kitchen and will be served to-go. Bring mom, buy her some delicious treats made with love and local ingredients and pick a spot on their Farmhouse lawn or paddocks for a picnic.

Salem Waterfront Hotel, Mother’s Day Brunch at the Waterfront

Treat your Mother to a delicious gourmet brunch buffet at the Salem Waterfront Hotel offering 90 Minute seatings from 11 am with last seating at 2 pm. $65.00 per person, $26.50 ages 12 and under, 3 and under are free!
