The student-centered campus of 390 learners is supported by a faculty and staff of practicing art professionals who encourage students to find their artistic voice while becoming personally engaged in their own education both inside and outside the classroom.
The college offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a four-year professional diploma with concentrations in animation and interactive media, book arts, graphic design, illustration, printmaking, drawing and painting, photo and video and sculpture, with minors in art history and creative writing. In addition, the college offers year-round continuing education classes for teens and adults. Four galleries exhibit works by international, national and regional contemporary artists, all of which are free and open to the public and intended to offer art education beyond the Montserrat classrooms through a series of public lectures, gallery talks, catalogs and events.
